An Introduction to Robotics
Interested in engineering? Wonder how robots work? Join Tito the Tech Titan robot Saturdays throughout the school year for labs, experiments, and friendly competitions using various robotics kits like VEX IQ and Makeblock Mbot2.
Students in grades 3-8 are invited to join the fun and be introduced to the basics of robotics. The Elementary session (grades 3-5) is an 8 week course and the Middle School (grades 6-8) is a 10 week course. Leaning will include basic electronics, engineering, understanding block code, introduction to python programming and working with sensors and automation.
Tech Titans is a hands on program that students can attend, and work at their own pace. A new skill or concept will be introduced every week and build on what was previously learned. All documentation and learning videos will be provided for students to read, watch, and learn outside of the Saturday gatherings.
The Fall sessions will run October thru November, and the Spring session will run February thru April. Please refer to the class schedule for any excluded dates. The sessions will be held at the ARIC facility, located at 31 West Main Street, Rear, Westminster MD, 21157.

8 Week Elementary Introduction to robotics
The class follows an 8 week program of learning basic concepts with the help of industry professional mentors that will facilitate the sessions. Club participation is limited to 6 students to allow for personalized one-on-one learning and access to equipment and resources. The low cost fee allows us to provide refreshments, printing materials, and instructional personnel.

10 Week Middle school Instructional courses
The Middle School class offering are as follows:
*A 10 week Introduction to Robotics using VEX IQ robots. This class introduces the basic concepts of robotics with an introduction to Python using block code. Club participation is limited to 8 students. This course is offered for Fall.
*A 10 week Learning Python with VEX. This intermediate course builds on the block code concept learned in the Intro class and translates tested code into Python. This course is offered in the spring.
This low cost fee allows us to provide refreshments, printing materials, and instructional personnel.
