Through ARIC, MAGIC brings technology education to life with programs for students from elementary school through high school. Our classes go far beyond robotics. Students build software skills and develop coding fundamentals in ways that apply to virtually any career path, not just engineering. The skills students develop here are the same ones that employers across every industry are looking for.

But the learning doesn’t stop at technical skills. Every MAGIC program at ARIC is intentionally designed to develop critical thinking, teamwork, and communication. We also love nurturing students’ natural curiosity and creativity, because the best innovators are the ones who ask great questions and aren’t afraid to try something new.

Our current offerings include after-school and summer classes for elementary and middle schoolers, partnerships with Carroll County Public Schools, and collaborations with homeschool families and co-ops. We also house a community-based competitive robotics team. In addition, ARIC’s Makerspace is stocked with 3D printers, a laser cutter, vinyl design tools, and more. We are continually adding new programs as ARIC grows, so there is always something new to discover.

MAGIC also hosts regular community events at ARIC, from entrepreneurship meetups like 1 Million Cups Westminster to creative workshops, concerts, and community celebrations. It’s all part of building the kind of connected, innovative community that Carroll County deserves.
